beHulda — A First Encounter

A First Encounter brings together soft fabric, light silk and shaped felt in a small introduction to the beHulda collection. TOBY, CONY, SILKI and BORDI each have their own texture, shape and movement. Together, they offer a varied starting point without deciding what the play should become.

Place the pieces where children can reach them. Give them time to notice, handle and return to the materials, without needing to demonstrate a use or suggest a story. What catches their attention, and what follows, is for them to decide.

A First Encounter: £11 for the set—a saving of £1.75 compared with buying individually.

Included: One TOBY, one CONY, one SILKI and one BORDI. TOBY includes a pair of fabric sleeves.

Colours: An assorted selection, depending on availability. If you have a preference, please leave a note in your cart. We’ll accommodate it where possible.

Origin and size: Designed in Iceland and handmade in Nepal. Slight variations are part of each piece’s individual character. Please see the individual product pages for approximate dimensions.

Care: Fabric pieces: cool wash and air dry. Felt: gently spot clean with cool water and wool-safe detergent; reshape and air dry away from direct heat. Do not machine wash or tumble dry felt.
